UV Protection

Protect Your Eyes In Style

All our sunglasses block harmful UVA / UVB rays and will protect your eyes. Our sunglasses lenses are mostly UV400 and made of poly-carbonate which is very effective at blocking UV rays.

There's no demonstrated correlation between high prices and increased UV protection. A 1995 study reported that "Expensive brands and polarizing sunglasses do not guarantee optimal UVA protection." The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has also reported that "consumers cannot rely on price as an indicator of quality". One unscientific survey even found a $6.95 pair of generic glasses with slightly better protection than Michael Kors or Salvatore Ferragamo shades.

What are G15 Lenses?

The number part of the code (15) means this lens only allows 15% of light through and "G" stands for Green. This type of lens was originally developed by Ray Ban and the US Air Force back in the 30's to help pilots deal with the intense glare they experience whilst flying. There are also B-15 lenses which are the brown version.

 

Orders and Payments

How can I pay?
You can pay with your credit card (Visa, Visa Debit or MasterCard) with DPS. DPS is the quickest and easiest ways to pay and your order will be dispatched faster. New Zealand customers can also pay by bank transfer. You can also use PayPal although registration is required.

How long will it take to process my order?
We process orders on a daily basis and ship within 24 hrs after receiving your payment.

Where do I find my order number?
You can find your order number or ID on your iPOP account page. These details are emailed to you after you have placed an order.

 

Do I have to register before I can make a purchase?
Yes. This will make ordering from us easier in the future and allow us to keep in contact with you.


Did you receive my payment yet?
Log into you iPOP account and click on “order status”. If your order is marked “shipped” then we have received your payment and your item(s) are on the way.

Can I amend my order?
Yes, before you have completed checkout you can update your shopping cart adding or subtracting items.  

Can I return my order if I don't like them?

Yes, you can. Whatever the reason it's cool with us. They must be returned in mint condition and with all the original packaging.

Delivery & Shipping

All orders of sunglasses are shipped with a free soft pouch to keep your sunnies looking good.

Do you have a physical store I can visit or pick up from?
We dont have a store but if your in Nelson you are welcome to pick-up

Have much do I have to spend to qualify for free shipping?

Which courier company do you use?
We use NZ CourierPost

Where do I find the tracking number for my shipment? (NZ only)
Once we have shipped your order you will receive an email from us with your tracking details or log into your account and click on “order status”. Here you will find your tracking number- something like HA0014444444. To track your shipment here- TRACK MY PARCEL by entering your track number in the "Track Your Parcel" box.
